First Manufacturing Ltd is an established company with over 25 years experience in the industry, providing practical solutions in the design & manufacture of interior environments. Our skilled workforce coupled with our fully equipped workshop & management team enable us to respond to our clients needs, ranging from multiple production runs through to one off bespoke items. Our reputation exists on our commitment to providing high quality finished products along with an excellent service and an honest approach in our relationship with our clients.
Premises
We have over 16,000 square feet of premises in Wellington, incorporating a machine shop, in house spraying & drying areas, final assembly shop & warehousing.

DesignUsing the latest 3d design software Solidworks & SketchUp we are able to present our clients with scale working model drawings of concepts for their consideration & approval prior to manufacture.

Management TeamA dedicated project manager is allocated to each project. All our managers are ex shop floor skilled staff & are Cad literate, providing a wealth of knowledge to drive your project to a successful conclusion.

Machine ShopFirst Manufacturing have an array of traditional woodworking machinery along with state of the art CNC routing & edging machinery.

Assembly ShopWith 6 assembly benches, edge banding machine & platen press we are able to accommodate large production runs as well as the assembly & pre-build of larger 1 off bespoke joinery items.

Finishing ShopWith our experienced finishing team we are able to apply a vast range of finishes such as acid catalyst lacquers & paints & polyurethane 2 pack products to a very high standard.

WarehousingWe have a dedicated building split for the storage of raw materials &
finished unitary. Most of our common materials are generally held in stock. |

MaterialsAs well as most wood based products we can provide additional materials such as metalwork, glass & acrylic fabrication, not forgetting our bespoke postforming service. We are also an approved fabricator of Lg Hi-macs & Corian acrylic solid surface.
